Eloise Sweetman, finished Temporary Programme School of Missing Studies alumni (2013-2015), and Jason Hendrik Hansma initiated and run Shimmer, a Rotterdam based exhibition space that operates with a studio-like mentality where knowledge arises through participation and experimentation. Shimmer recently presented Moment II: Waves by Lisa Tan at Goethe-Institut Rotterdam for Museumnacht010 2018.

Shimmer's concern is to care for relationships with artists, audiences, institutions, and how those relationships expand beyond the exhibition walls into Charlois, the port, and into the City of Rotterdam.

Radiating from the exhibition are programs of events Sunday Mornings and online On the Waves, to move into both the personal and the public space.
