INNER

The improvisational film Inner explores the fluid nature of one’s stream of consciousness in relation to self awareness. Set in a snowy landscape, that brings to mind a blank page or canvas ready to be filled, the film exposes the non-linear inner dialogue of a man left to himself. The work explores the homeostasis imperative of the human being – its strive and ability as a living system, confronted to its environment, to maintain an equilibrium within itself – and the associated role played by emotions as the building blocks of human experience. Poetry is used as a flow of data, exposing the constantly shifting specificities of identity.
