Η ποιητική των μικρών χειρονομιών

" Since the Peloponnese train runs again, it is possible to reach the city center of Patras in just fifteen minutes from its periphery. This new way enables me to discover entire neighborhoods and walk the city in a different way. At times, I see the sea in the distance. Sometimes it is right before my eyes. Now that the city is better served, the seaside is also benefiting from restructure. Walks are arranged to allow travelers to easily reach the sea from a train station. White squares drawn on the ground, from which trees and concrete structures flourish, bring us there. These interventions are part of the natural and urban landscape of the region. Raw concrete is an integral part of the Mediterranean landscape, its culture and its identity. In addition, post-slab structures, sometimes unfinished, allow a freedom of spatial configuration, necessary for each contextual adaptation. The appropriation of these places is done instinctively. I observe fishermen, bathers, tourists and locals who invest in these urban developments whose functions are community. Mediterranean walkers find a new vision of the city and its seaside, in a poetic stroll dotted with small architectural gestures, and so I find my place."
