Transgressions

I have been a foreigner / alien / migrant for the past 5 years. I still have a sensation where I can’t really perform my identities in ways that are satisfying to others. Transgressions is an animation where I explore a sense of fantasy that comes with the numbness provoked by moving to a new land. After moving to e Netherlands my body started to contract because of the lack of knowledge of the geographic space, the more I feel disconnected from a territory, the more I daydream. I started to believe that Transgressing to spaces where I was not really allowed, would allow me to feel free. I started to go to industrial spaces and get lost, film video, take pictures, write texts and record sound. e animation is a collection of the surreal elements I have been finding in these city explorations, in order to reclaim my sense of freedom.
