A skeuomorph is an object with formerly functional ornamental attributes. Nowadays it mostly refers to computer graphic interface with elements mimicking analogue objects and their former use (cf. the postal stamp as an icon for the email app). When the analogue world serves as a benchmark in the design of digital environments, what happens when they become ubiquitous? When the digital is taking more and more space in our lives, how its specific uses are influencing our non-digital interactions? This video is a demonstration of the use of a window, derived from the ones we have on our computers (specifically inspired by the OS X one).
