Which I did by going off and making this video with my friend. - - - - - Before then, I used to think of the different things I do as a spectrum, and felt like they often got in conflict in terms of how much time and energy I could give to different things. That week felt like the first time I clearly physically experienced art making as a resourcing practice (rather than draining practice), that felt directly related to resourcing for activism/organising. And the different things I do as part of an ecosystem where exchanges of energy and resources can happen. Since then, linked to the ongoing conversation with the school’s board members, I’ve also noticed some background “activation”, finding it hard to switch back into dreaming space. In the coming semester, I want to develop my capacity to shift between different nervous system states, and develop ways to support others to do this through my outdoors facilitation. - - - - - “The Resilience Toolkit is a system for reducing stress and growing resilience in individuals, organizations, and communities so they can envision, create, and implement positive change.” (Loumos Transforms)
