Hypermelancholy

Hypermelancholy is the debut record by the italian interdisciplinary artist Lefka. It is the speculative narrative sonification of the artificial Human from the future, who left planet Earth and got stuck at hyperspeed. Lefka's work tells about the struggle and despair of not being able to reach home again, but also about the introspective fight of the artificial human against technology, reflecting on the present and future dialectic problematics and hopes between humanity and technology. Featuring meticolously layered synth-work and fragile guitar riffs shielded by an intense aura of textured distortion, interspersed by orchestral compositions and melancholic interludes, Hypermelancholy takes the listener through the introspective experience of the artificial human.
