Noplace: Spatial Design

The Noplace Center features a 93m² office space with 12 desks, a kitchen area, and a cozy sofa corner. All rooms are equipped with a gallery lighting system, and the desks are foldable, allowing the coworking space to quickly transform into a gallery or event space. Upon entering, you’ll pass the 24m² conference room, designed for privacy with a large meeting table and south-facing windows that can be easily darkened. A mount for paper backdrops is available for photography or projection. The 53m² Print Lab specializes in analog printing techniques, including screen and linoleum printing, while also accommodating practices like paper cutting and binding. The lab’s glass wall facing the conference room makes it an ideal space for design and print workshops. The design of the foldable tables, based on the Eiermann frame, was modified to be easily fabricated by hand. This process involved collaborative skill-sharing in woodworking and welding, with much of the work done at the Minha Galera collective's workshop in Hürth.
