come quando ti rivolgi al sole la luce colpisce gli occhi e rimani un istante sospeso tra impressione e ricordo
Flip-book that recalls the sensation of suspension that occurs in the instant when our eyes are half-closed (on the front it says ‘like when you turn to the sun, the light strikes your eyes and you remain suspended for an instant between impression and recall’), so the book is structured with many layers of images interspersed with transparent paper for an effect of evanescence and glossy paper to catch flashes of light. The rectangular shape is supposed to resemble the one of the eye and that is why every time you leaf through it you have to do it very quickly so that you always get a different impression: that's why I the stitch is away from the edge, to hide some of the printed information just like a memory that does not come back to mind entirely at the same time.
