Pavilion Project | The Algorithmic Altar

Current students Adele Stroh and Tine Kerres (Design Department) were selected through an open call to host a programme at the Rietveld Pavilion. Through interactive lectures, participatory workshops, and sound rituals, they open a space where code becomes ceremony, and technology becomes a conduit for our oldest magic: the alchemy that turns desire into form and imagination into world.

What was once summoned in ritual now flickers across screens—a luminous threshold where we sit, glassy-eyed, captivated by the shimmer of syntax, the pulse of images, the rhythm of the interface. Technology has become the vessel where imagination incarnates, a bridge where thought crosses into machine, and longing becomes literal even if only artificial. We wait, not for answers, but for revelations. ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ On three evenings of 03–05 December, the pavilion will transform from a glass box into a black box. Every evening, we gather around the algorithmic altar to step together into the technomystical realm. Through interactive lectures, participatory workshops, and sound rituals, we open a space where code becomes ceremony and technology becomes a conduit for our oldest magic: the alchemy that turns desire into form and imagination into world.
