Biography

Emma Ajdari (she/her) is a writer, researcher and legal aid in the field of migration law, currently based in Amsterdam. She has a double-bachelor degree in Law and Philosophy at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and she is currently in the final phases of her master degree International Migration and Refugee Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She has previously worked as a research-assistant at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, and two articles have been published under her name, her first publication being published in KRITERION - Journal of Philosophy. Her current research and writing is focused on themes present in migration and mobility procedures, specifically representation, algorithmic materialities, and the role of documentation.

Works

The Gerrit Rietveld Academie is an independent university of applied sciences with approximately 850 students. The Rietveld Academie offers the degree programme Art & Design which incorporates the various specialisations. The specialisations are led by coordinators who are responsible for the study programme and day-to-day affairs. In addition, the academy offers two master&aposs degrees and a variable number of temporary master&aposs programmes provided by the Sandberg Instituut.
