Biography

António Manso Preto (he/him), is a portuguese writer, artist and researcher, currently based in Amsterdam. Fine Arts BA with a specialisation in Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (FBAUP). For the majority of the bachelor was a part of "A Leste", artist-ran collective and exhibition space in Porto, helping in the organization and curation of events and exhibitions, and participating in the artistic manifestations of the collective. Works mainly in between publication, video, sculpture and photography, through an archivist as well as emotive approach. His work has been shown in Galeria Municipal do Porto, A Leste, Galeria Graça Brandão, among others; recent text work has been published by Pilot Press and RCL - Revista Cultura e Linguagens.
