Biography

Laila El Mehelmy (Saudi Arabia, 1992) is an artist - originally trained as an Industrial Designer – whose focus shifted towards jewellery as an art form. Her work questions how does the body's physical interaction with work evolve the work itself. It is the tactile element that jewellery allows for that has sparked her interest in the field.
