Louwrien Wijers, finished Temporary Programme Cure Master (2014-2016) tutor, organized the symposium 'Art Meets Science and Spirituality in a Changing Economy' at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, September 10 -14, 1990.

The five day conference was inspired by the artists Joseph Beuys and Robert Filliou, and manifested by Louwrien Wijers, who called it a "mental sculpture." Artists, scientists, spiritual leaders and economists gathered in Amsterdam to explore the emerging paradigm of a holistic world view and the implications for a global economy. Guests ranged from artists Lawrence Weiner, Robert Rauschenberg, and Marina Abramovic to the Dalai Lama and Russian Nobel laureate Ilya Prigogine.
