Floris van Bommel

Floris van Bommel is a classic, hip, unorthodox shoe brand for men based in Holland. They are family run and hit back on nine generations. Three brothers are now running this cool sturdy factory. Innovation and tradition, strong design, and a firm belief in business values made them survive global times. Their shoes are masculine and metropolitan, and excel in quality, comfort and style. I was thrilled and honoured when Floris van Bommel assigned me to design their bag collection. They belong to the high peaks of Dutch design. And truly, it’s a sheer pleasure to work with them. Of course being a brilliant designer himself, Floris knows what it takes to design the best products. He gives me true freedom to design. We agreed the bags should have a casual feeling and make organizing life for men more practical and elegant. Take a look at our achievements. We feel very proud.
