Nomad Company

Starting off as a sleeping bag company, NOMAD became the most important creator of outdoor equipment in Europe. They produce innovative hiking and travel gear (mats, tents, bags), in the highest quality. NOMAD strives to make the burden to nature as little as possible in both manufacturing process and materials used. Adventure, comfort and independency are key words for this modern nomadic lifestyle brand. My relationship with NOMAD goes back some years now. What attracted me immediately is that they are a family run business. This means they make products with a heart, reached by sweat, conviction and dedication. Since our first contact our relationship merged into an interesting dialogue. We develop plans; I elaborate them into concepts and smart design, after which they implant the development. It’s an ongoing & ego free process in which we communicate all the time. Since our collaboration worked out so well, I begged them to design a brand new bag collection for the young NOMAD URBAN. I’m sure this has great potential. Luckily they were so courageous to give it a go. I felt so privileged. Imagine, for the first time they made it possible for an external to set up a brand new program. They gave me carte blanche.
