Biography

Nieke Koek is fascinated by what the body undergoes when it is moving. She creates work that gives the audience the opportunity to study fleeting moments with greater attention and by doing so is given the awareness of the complexity of our body and our actions. Nieke Koek is an interdisciplinary artist. She creates performances, installations and sculptures.
